Statkraft has been present in 阿尔巴尼亚 since 2007 and explored several potential projects before deciding to invest in the Devoll 水电 Project in 2013.
In the Devoll 水电 Project, the first hydropower plant, Banja, came into operation in 2016. The second plant, Moglicë, started commercial operations in June 2020.
Statkraft’s operations in 阿尔巴尼亚 also includes acting as a market operator for energy trading in the country, including the trading of the electricity generated through the Devoll 水电 Project.
Statkraft operates in 阿尔巴尼亚 through the subsidiary companies 开发水电.A. and Statkraft Renewables 阿尔巴尼亚 Sh.p.k.
Statkraft continues to explore potential opportunities to expand its investments in 阿尔巴尼亚.
